This is a great toy, it teaches kids valuable skills while they play. Thay learn about cutting, using hand eye coordination and how to put things back together. It is very durable, it has held up even with all the abuse it takes from my 5 kids.

He will play with this for many years. He now thinks he is allowed to use a knife at the table, so we have to be careful around real knives. The wooden fruit is much more duarble than plastic fruit, which we also have.

My almost 2 year old daughter just received this for her birthday. It’s great for her to learn more about different fruits, counting, colors, and cutting! She’s not so coordinated with the cutting part yet but she tries. The fruit pieces are great quality and see them NOT chipping or the paint wearing off. I got her the sushi set for her upcoming birthday so we can’t wait to try that out!
