Bought this bear for my son for easter. So cute. It is definitely oversized, but adorable and incredibly soft, like all Gund bears.
My son loves Elwood the forest bear. As all Gunds are, he is soft and cuddly. I love that he looks like a real bear, but I wonder if my son would have preferred the large or extra large Dylan bear (Gund) that looks like a teddy bear and stands upright. I think the Dylan bear may be easier to pick up and hold for my two-year-old than Elwood, whose arms are forward and rest between his front legs, but my son does love Elwood and sleeps with him. Any Gund teddy bear is a good choice!
