The Fisher Price Power Wheels Barbie Jammin’ Jeep is a battery-operated ride-on vehicle that your child can really drive. Kids will gain a real sense of independence playing “grown up” driving a “real” car, and they can have great fun practicing coordination skills by steering, stopping, and driving in reverse.

Designed for children ages 3 to about 6, the Barbie Jammin’ Jeep looks just like a real Jeep. And it operates with a real steering wheel and a foot pedal. Powered by a rechargeable 12-volt battery, the Jeep can drive up to 5mph. The car is equipped to travel a max of only 2.5mph when your child is a beginning driver, but as they become more experienced, you can remove the safety mechanism to release maximum speed. The vehicle also features a specially designed safety braking system, which automatically stops the vehicle when the foot is removed from the pedal. The Jeep can also go in reverse at up to 2.5mph. While not necessarily all-terrain, this vehicle can go over hard surfaces and grass.

My son loves this swing! He’s slept in it since the day we brought him home from the hospital. It’s a little large-you need a 4ft x 4 ft space for it- but when it hushes a screaming baby you’ll know it’s worth it. The mobile is brightly colored and holds a baby’s attention and the music is soothing. The swing plugs into a wall outlet, which is a great feature: baby accessories require a lot of batteries, which can get expensive!

We have this and Hug & Learn Baby Tad, and we prefer this puppy because it has a lot of variety. It has two modes – learning and musical, which are selected by pressing the button on its foot. The other foot, both hands, an ear, tummy and nose play sounds or songs when pressed. The puppy identifies body parts, colors and sings fun songs. It is very colorful, has a flashing bone on his shirt and volume control through a velcro seam on its back. My young son finds it very easy to push the buttons. Some reviewers have said that the ear broke, but we have not had any such problem and we’ve used it every day for four months.

We bought this for our little girl when she was 8 months old. The lion is very cute, has a big purple nose that lights up when pushed, and it plays music. It really encouraged our daughter to walk and within a couple of weeks she was walking without holding onto anything. Now she’s 13 months old and uses it as a ride on toy. You don’t have to push the nose in order to get the music to play, sometimes it plays when you push it around. Great toy, highly recommend!

This is one amazing toy. I’m not sure of the exact height. I forgot to read that part, but my guess is 18 to 20 inches. So to little toddlers it will appear to be playmate size. The only reason I even know about this toy is because my 5 year old niece has one and I saw a demonstration. It is a very life-like animated entertainer. He tells stories, sings songs, sits on a provided stool, crosses his legs, mouth moves in sync with talking and singing. If you knock him over he’ll say something like “Oops! Elmo fell down” and when you pick him up he says “You’re my best friend”. Build a little stage. Gather the little ones together. Elmo will provide a wonderful show. I think it takes about 10 minutes for Elmo to go through his whole routine. I’m considering buying one for myself.

Designed for kids ages three to six, the Smart Cycle “physical learning arcade system” is an all-in-one stationary bike, video game console, and educational tool. Your little one will exercise her brain and her body and have loads of fun in the process.

The Smart Cycle plugs directly into your VCR or TV and requires no need for a separate game system. Simply connect the Smart Cycle to your television’s input jacks, insert the included game cartridge “key,” and your child can start riding and learning right away! Your child pedals the bike to keep the game going and “steers” with the movable handlebars. A large, easy-to-use and conveniently placed joy stick and bright buttons control the games and educational tools.

The Ultimate Test Drive
We found the Smart Cycle easy to assemble and very simple to install with our television set. All we needed for assembly was a Phillips screwdriver and four “D” batteries (not included). As long as your television or VCR is equipped with the red, white, and yellow RCA jacks to connect the Smart Cycle, you’re set to go. We simply connected the included plugs to the television’s jacks, turned the television on, and we were ready for hours of fun. Once the game started, the cycle seemed easy enough to operate, making it not too much of a challenge to result in frustrating a child, but not so easy that it would soon become boring. With the additional optional game cartridges, we believe the Smart Cycle promises to be a long-lasting source of entertainment.

The Smart Cycle comes with an easy-to-follow instruction manual, and the set-up only took a few minutes. However, one minor set-back we experience was that we needed the paper instruction manual on hand to understand how to play the video game; we found some elements of the games to be nearly impossible to understand without the instructions. An intuitive set of online instructions designed for children to follow, without the need to consult a paper manual, would make for a near-ideal gaming experience for any child (and parent). Also, although the seat offers four height levels, the handlebars are not height adjustable, which may present a problem for some smaller children.
